Help! What is this thing that is leaking? 1974 Jeep DJ5C

There is transmission fluid leaking from the transmission pan area. It appears that a switch or sensor has a leak. Please see pictures and e-mail suggestions. I do not know what this part is. It has a blade connector to a yellow wire. That wire leads up to the engine compartment, where it is part of a wire bundle, near the ignition coil.
